TechX provides desktop support to the user population. We provide technical assistance and resolution; configure, install, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices in a network environment. We work with the Aberdeen Proving Ground Network Enterprise Center (NEC) and provide the re-image of Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet) computers in accordance with approved Army baseline. We ensure the approved and updated Army software, firmware, and drives are properly installed and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG). Our Help-Desk support personnel provide troubleshooting/Computing Environment (CE) / Network Environment (NE) support to CECOM CIO/G6 by collecting information, simple troubleshooting, utilizing ITSM ticketing system, and provide IT support throughout the C5ISR campus
Our system Administrator provides advanced troubleshooting support to all IT systems throughout the CECOM CIO/G6 headquarters. We configure and support local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and Internet systems. We provide extensive experience in technologies and skills such as DoD security hardening, collection and assessment tools (STIGs, ACAS SCAP, Nessus, etc.), security architectures, Management Services, Network (routing, switching, etc.), Access Management, Configuration Management, Cisco Internet Operating system (IOS), Cisco NXOS, ASA firewalls, data packet routing, switching, proxy services, and engineering for IP data networks.
ARAT Operation Center
As part of the ARAT Operations Task order, TechX Performed security management duties, following the principles and guidance from ISO/IEC 27001:20005 (Information Security Management System- ISMS). The TechX ARAT OC Cyber personnel (SA, ISSE, ISSO) provided Continuous Monitoring and Self Assessor Services for both the APG and Ft. Rucker location. Our personnel provided RMF transition effort of SEC ARAT systems from a DIACAP ATO. Our personnel assisted with the preparation, maintenance, and change management of the lab’s infrastructure IA accreditations to include document preparation/modification, Enterprise Mission Assurance Support System (eMASS) registration/modification, assisting with inherited DoD 8500.2 IA controls, coordinating with Certification Authority (CA) representative inquiries and visits, coordinating with Designated Approving Authority (DAA) representative inquiries and baseline change requests. We ensured and enforced the establishment, development, and maintenance of a DoD ports and protocols management process for registration of port and protocol usage by all hosted information systems, applications, and services connected to the GIG. Our personnel established and maintained the Information Assurance practices within the ARAT Operation Center’s laboratories according to all applicable Federal & DISA policies and directives. We Collected and retained audit data to support technical analyses relating to misuse, penetration reconstruction, or other investigations, and provided this data to appropriate law enforcement or other investigating agencies should this be necessary.
CECOM G6 Support
TechX currently provides infrastructure and hosting support for a wide range of application and development issues, collaborate with developers and managers, and kept the organization and sustainment program up to date on technology and software development implementation and deployment. TechX Supports the software lifecycle and production deployment. Our support includes System and Solution Engineering, Architecture and Design services, and Security Assessment Support for the various systems. The team uses agile management approaches to improve productivity and keep in close content with customers to determine needs and feedback.
